We want to help as many people as possible access our services, regardless of their financial situation. Our helpline provision ensures people can access free support as they need it.
Our promise

Anne’s mission is to provide safe, timely, and evidence-based care to trans+ individuals, promoting health and well-being across the community.
Our non-profit model aims to help as many people as possible access our services regardless of their financial situation, and we are creating a helpline provision so that individuals can access free support as they need it.
We firmly believe that affirmative, timely, trans healthcare should be accessible free of charge; however, with the NHS refusing to provide medical healthcare for trans+ young people and adults subjected to multiple forms of gatekeeping practices, the NHS is failing transgender people of all ages every day. And it is costing lives.
Our commitment to helping trans+ people access treatment and support with dignity is fueled by the knowledge that the last few years have been incredibly difficult. Trans+ people of all ages have been targeted, healthcare removed, and rights rolled back.
In December 2020, on Newsnight, Susie Green highlighted the risk to young people following the Bell vs Tavistock judgment and was shouted down by Emily Maitliss. It is heartbreaking that all media outlets are choosing to ignore the evidence brought forward by whistleblowers of the deaths of young people that have occurred since then, as reported by The Good Law Project.
In adult trans+healthcare services, waiting times are optimistically estimated at around 5 years. In reality, as reported at the inquest into Alice Litman’s suicide on the 13th of October 2023, someone referred today, if services continue to see new patients at current rates, would have to wait 20 years for their first appointment. The lack of access to trans healthcare was ruled as contributing to the decline in Alice’s mental health.
Despite the risks, we set up a service that treats people with dignity and respect and provides the clinically appropriate care they need.
